About Beyond Borders
Beyond Borders is our intense discipleship pipeline designed to equip believers for holistic transformation. Through weekly DTS training, disciples receive biblical teaching and practical tools for growing in their faith and then going to share with others, while monthly goals coaching in Ambassadors Club provides the structure and accountability needed to make measurable personal progress. In Presidents Club, we focus on positive habit development, helping individuals strengthen their social, emotional, physical, and spiritual lives. These three pillars—training, coaching, and positive habit development—work together to empower believers to grow into fully equipped disciples who live out their calling.
At the heart of Beyond Borders is our growing community of simple churches, including those known as Out Tha Box Church and Refresh Church, which are multiplying house to house, city to city, and region to region. This movement is uniting believers in a powerful body of Christ that is committed to spreading the gospel until there is No Place Left. Together, we are cultivating a vibrant and expanding network of disciples who are living out the Great Commission and bringing transformation to every corner of the world. |

Disciple the Streets (DTS)Disciple The Streets (DTS) is a family of believers committed to being the church by training up and multiplying disciples, leaders and churches. We are driven to be Christ-centered, proclaiming the gospel of grace (Luke 24:46-49; Acts 20:24), relying on the Word as our guide (John 15:1-16), and depending on the Spirit as our Empowerer (John 14:23-26). Our practice reflects this vision, as we live out our calling to make disciples, serve our communities, and expand God's kingdom wherever we go.
Our Structure is an open-membership, open-source volunteer movement built around the vision of Matthew 24:14 and Romans 15:23. We welcome anyone aspiring to the DTS ethos to join as a free-will offering (Psalm 110:3), and we engage with open hands, embracing generosity and collaboration (Proverbs 11:24-25). Together, we move forward with a shared mission to impact the world for the glory of God. For more information, please go to the DTS website here.

DTS Ambassadors ClubAmbassadors Club is a six-month program designed to support men and women who have completed the ten-week DTS training and are officially initiated into the DTS Family. Once eligible, participants join Ambassadors Club, where they receive spiritual accountability and support through monthly group meetings. In addition to fostering community, the program offers Goals Coaching, provided by volunteer Executives who mentor the ambassadors in key areas of life such as finance, family, and career. This combination of spiritual growth and practical coaching helps individuals level up in every aspect of their lives, empowering them to live out their calling with confidence and clarity.

Presidents' ClubPresidents Club is a year-long commitment for individuals who have successfully completed the Ambassadors Club program. Attendees are assigned the book "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey, which serves as the foundation for their personal and professional growth. Every other month, participants gather for a formal, private dinner with Executives, who share their stories of overcoming trials and tribulations and impart wisdom based on the practical application of these seven habits in their lives. This intimate setting provides a space for disciples to discuss their insights from the book and learn how to apply them in their own lives.
In addition to deepening their understanding of the habits, participants in Presidents Club focus on growing their communication skills, personal appearance, and public speaking. This integral part of our discipleship pipeline equips disciples with the confidence to navigate across various socio-economic classes. The ultimate goal is to develop both personal and public confidence, empowering participants to not only thrive in their own lives but also to give back by mentoring and supporting others as they enter the Eyes On Me discipleship pipeline. |
DTS ReconDTS Recon Unit is a special group of dedicated leaders within the DTS family who meet rigorous discipleship requirements, setting the standard for what it means to “grow and go.” To join, members must commit to sharing the gospel weekly, leading or co-leading a Discovery Bible Study or House Church, reading scripture daily with accountability partners, and discipling at least one person, among other responsibilities.
These Recon disciples do not simply work locally; they also serve as missionaries, going house to house, city to city, and region to region, spreading the gospel and multiplying disciples wherever they are called. Members of the Recon Unit are focused on multiplying leaders, disciples, and churches, with the top priority being the expansion of God’s kingdom through intentional discipleship. While knowledge of the gospel is essential, DTS Recon emphasizes the importance of sharing and teaching the gospel to others, leading by example in both word and deed. To ensure they stay refreshed and spiritually strong for their mission, Recon disciples also take quarterly retreats, providing opportunities to recharge and deepen their faith. Members can join DTS Recon anytime after completing DTS Training and initiation, stepping into a high-impact role that pushes the boundaries of discipleship. |
Out tha Box ChurchOut Tha Box / Refresh Church is a movement of simple, house-based churches that are part of the Out Tha Box Church Network, which has been planting churches since 2012. Rooted in the transformative power of Christ, these churches are established in homes, apartments, and community centers across Greater Houston. Our model focuses on simplicity and accessibility, allowing believers to plant churches in homes, apartments, and community centers without the financial burdens of buildings, staffing, or additional program costs. This approach makes it easier to bring the gospel directly to where people live and work, creating space for the Holy Spirit to move quickly and effectively in the lives of individuals and communities.
At the heart of each gathering is the “3/3rd’s Process”, a simple yet effective framework that focuses on nurturing relationships, embracing divine truth, and engaging in apostolic mission. This process helps create churches that are not only healthy and sustainable but also easily reproducible. Our vision is to see these simple, vibrant churches planted in every zip code in the Greater Houston area. Through the faith and dedication of local believers, Out Tha Box / Refresh Church is on a mission to make disciples and multiply churches, fulfilling the Great Commission one community at a time. |
