About Our Community Leader
Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, Paul Taylor’s journey has been one of transformation, faith, and service. Initially moving to Houston to pursue a music career with Universal Music Group, Paul’s life took a new direction when he found Christ and felt called to ministry. He returned to Gary to preach at Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church in 2008, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to spreading the Gospel.
After making Houston his permanent home, Paul built a family while continuing his passion for ministry. He raised two daughters and one son, celebrating milestones like his eldest daughter earning a master’s degree from Prairie View A&M, his younger daughter attending high school in Arizona, and his 13-year-old son excelling in basketball for his junior high team. In 2017, Paul earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and began serving as a clinician with MHMRA, providing critical support to those in need. However, his passion for preaching never faded. In 2022, he returned to full-time ministry, succeeding as the head pastor of Kingdom United Church in Missouri City. Within his first year of leadership, he relocated the church to Forum Park in Southwest Houston, where he continues to impact lives. A dedicated servant of the community, Paul has been volunteering with Eyes On Me since 2016. Today, as a Community Leader, he brings his experience, compassion, and faith-driven mission to equip and uplift those in Southwest Houston, embodying the heart of servant leadership. Kingdom United ChurchKingdom United Church is an organic church plant by Eyes On Me in an apartment clubhouse. After filling their limited space, they grow through multiplication rather than increasing their membership. Each house church has its own leadership and derives its authority directly from Christ, rather than through a church hierarchy. It functions in every way as a church.

Community Outreach/Hip Hop HopeHip Hop Hope is an outreach in streets that are less traveled by most church members. Whether it is crime, poverty, or simply a lack of resources, our desire is to mobilize the Body of Christ into those tough areas in order to engage the community with food, games, prizes, live music and a presentation of the gospel.
When: Wednesdays, 5:30pm - 6:30pm Where: 10101 Forum Park Dr, Houston, TX 77036, USA |
