The Hip Hop Hope Ministry is using Christian Hip Hop culture to build the body of Christ. The church has too often cloistered itself behind institutional walls. For this reason, Hip Hop Hope partners with churches and provides them with the opportunity to move out of its building to feed, teach, clothe, entertain and evangelize lost souls in their communities.
The process begins with Eyes On Me, Inc. identifying low-income and at-risk communities to saturate with the Gospel. These events take place in various locations (i.e., empty lots in the neighborhood, an apartment clubhouse, parks or church properties). Live music, meals, games, and evangelism are offered with the ages, education, ethnic and socioeconomic makeup of the participants in mind. During each event, volunteers are enlisted and trained to assist with food, games for children, clothing distribution, and hand out backpacks and/or school supplies and/or testify about the love of Christ. |
