after school Mentoring
Eyes On Me, Inc.’s Hope Discovery (HD) Mentoring provides a way for volunteers to develop sincere relationships with youth who are at-risk of dropping out of school. Mentoring the next generation of youth is critical to the future health and prosperity of the communities we serve. Thousands of youth within the Greater Houston area are growing up without guidance and support from parents or others that is needed to prepare them to become well-adjusted and productive members of society.
Making progress in addressing this need requires substantial commitments of time and resources and this investment has been made by our organization. In efforts to reduce discipline referrals, increase academic achievement and share the Good News, HD Mentoring is being offered in low performing and alternative school settings in the communities we serve. Eyes On Me, Inc. has established a relationship with Royal ISD. Since 2010, HD Mentoring has had an impact on 100 plus youth at Royal ISD High School.

Thank you for your interest in being a part of HD Mentoring at Eyes On Me, Inc. This program was implemented, as our mission states, for the purpose of delivering hope, truth, and the love of Christ in order to transform lives. Because we feel that becoming a mentor is a very important role to take on and maintain, we have implemented the following steps to becoming a certified mentor with HD Mentoring:
